2021 will be our first year of hosting the Loch Lomond Whiskies Matchplay.

As the Official Spirit Of The Open, Loch Lomond Whiskies have a great relationship with golf and through our partnership, we have an amazing prize for our Matchplay Champions.

Imagine competing with your partner over 18 holes at Kingsbarns Golf Links, where you will also get to play a hole with one of the Loch Lomond Whiskies Brand Ambassadors.

After a great day on the golf course, where you will enjoy a warm up at the range, catering and 18 holes of competitive golf over Kingsbarns Golf Links, you will then head to your accommodation for an evening in St. Andrews.

In the evening, you will join other players from the day at a very special dinner in the R & A Clubhouse, where you’ll enjoy an amazing dinner, a Q&A with our special guest and could be crowned the Loch Lomond Whiskies Matchplay Champions of 2021.

The format of the competition is Matchplay Pairs and all you will have to do is win 4 matches to get to our national finals.

Our field of players will be divided in to sections based on their locations and players will have 6- 8 weeks to arrange each of their matches with 1 pair drawn as the home tie and 1 pair drawn as the away tie.

The tournament officially starts on July 1st

So for only £50 per pair, you could enjoy 3 competitive matchplay rounds of golf, a national final and then have an amazing golf experience at the home of golf, playing off for the Championship over Kingsbarns Golf Links and enjoying a Victory dinner at the R&A Clubhouse.
